Ripken Major League Tryouts
The BBSA is conducting tryout evalutions for the 2011 Ripken Major League.  The tryouts are to be held at Regan Park on September 22nd, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on September 25th, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. 

Please note, all players must attend one of these tryouts in order to play in the 2011 Ripken Major League.

Homers for Hiltzy Jr.

The Men’s Night Baseball League of Woburn will be holding a fundraising event to benefit the Family of Brian Hiltz Jr.  Brian died tragically on August 5th at the age of 6 years old.  Brian’s father, Brian “Hiltzy” Sr, is a long time player/manager in the Men’s Night Baseball League.  His fellow managers, including Tony Salamone who is a long time BBSA manager, are holding a fundraising effort to defray some of the costs associated with the funeral. Money raised will go directly to the Hiltz family and any additional funds raised will go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
 
Players of all ages are encouraged to participate. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division.

• Peewees 12yo and under - $5 donation, prize TBD
• Juniors 13 - 17yo - $10 donation, $100 cash prize, Maple bat, 5 raffle tickets
• Non MNBL Seniors 18+ - $10 donation, $250 cash prize, Maple bat, 5 raffle tickets
• MNBL Players - Bragging rights

 
Even if you don't want to take some swings, we encourage you to come down and enter to win some of our great raffle items, bounce in our bouncy house, or take your chances at dunking one of our league umpires in the dunk tank.

All participants will be entered into a raffle to win:
