MISSION STATEMENT

The goal of the BBSA is to foster a positive environment for young baseball/softball players in order to enhance their confidence, self-esteem, and enjoyment of sports through participation in baseball and softball. Parents, coaches, umpires, and league officials should work together to ensure that the baseball/softball experience helps everyone associated with the players to enhance their sense of fair play, respect for others, sharing, and appreciation of teamwork. They must never forget that the purpose of youth sports in general and Burlington baseball/softball in particular is to provide a healthy athletic environment for young men and women.
